Boulogne-sur-Mer, 12th September 2018. After a stressful bus ride Anna was rather tired when she arrived at her host family’s home in Boulogne-sur-Mer. Her work placement was at the Collège Haffreingue of her host sister Clémentine, with who she got along excellently and who she was allowed to accompany with her exciting free time activities (girl guide meetings, school of arts, etc.).     With the German teacher Madame Mullier Anna prepared the classes, helped with correcting pupils’ texts and took over several phases of the German lessons. Thus, on the one hand, she could get to know better the job of a German teacher and on the other hand could also improve her knowledge of French, as she gladly asserts at the end of her report on her work placement.
